Memorable matchups and epic battles from Star Wars and Marvel set the scene for elevated new brand blending art and collectibles
Moose Toys, a leading innovator in the toy industry, has created FANDROP, a completely new way to collect and celebrate fandom. Starting with its Star Wars™ and Marvel collaborations with Disney Consumer Products, FANDROPs debut includes Darth Vader’s chilling utterance to Luke Skywalker, “I am your father,” in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Marvel’s legendary matchup between Spider-Man and Venom inspired by The Amazing Spider-Man #375.

Introducing elevated art and collectibles, the display-ready FANDROP is a diorama-style showcase that presents pivotal moments inspired by Star Wars and Marvel. Completing the scene is an “artifact” representing a key element, like the Lightsaber from Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker’s battle or the symbiote from Venom during his encounter with Spider-Man.
Made of collector-level finishes, housed within each FANDROP are two dynamic style figures, a scene artifact, a collector mini print and a background loaded with “Easter eggs.” Adding to the allure for collectors, the included artifact spans three levels of rarity.
FANDROP will “drop” at U.S. retailers this July and fans can look forward to future drops in the coming months. Among the epic pairings are the Mandalorian and Grogu, Wolverine vs. Sabretooth, Iron Man vs. Loki, and many more.
Further feeding the anticipated fan frenzy, two black-and-white edition FANDROPs inspired by the production process — a “storyboard” rendition of Darth Vader vs. Luke Skywalker and an “artist-sketch” format of Spider-Man vs. Venom — will be available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con in July. Collectors purchasing the special edition FANDROP will be treated to either a rare or ultra rare “artifact” hidden behind blind packaging. The entire FANDROP line will also be available for purchase at Comic-Con. Adding to the collectability, each package will have a “Launch Edition” sticker only available at Comic-Con.
