All-New Season of Original Podcast Bows Tuesday, May 20
Nickelodeon today released a trailer for the fourth season of its award-winning original podcast, Avatar: Braving the Elements, the official rewatch podcast for Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. Debuting Tues., May 20, in season four (30 episodes), co-hosts Janet Varney (the voice of Korra) and Dante Basco (the voice of Prince Zuko) focus on The Legend of Korra, Book 1 and 2,which introduces Avatar Korra. The all-new season will rollout weekly with video episodes on YouTube and audio episodes wherever listeners get their podcasts.
The season kicks off with “The Legend of Korra, Book 1: Air” featuring series creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. During the episode, the pair help set the scene for the new season, both in the real world and on the television screen.
Future guests include The Legend of Korra voice cast members Zach Tyler Eisen (voice of Aang), Steve Blum (voice of Amon), Mindy Sterling (voiced of Lin Beifong), Mick Foley (voice of The Boulder), Seychelle Gabriel (voice of Asami), and James Sie (voice of the Cabbage Merchant), along with Jeremy Zuckerman (music composer), Joaquim Dos Santos (director), Pablo LĂłpez (superfan and professional baseball player), Levon Hawke (Blink Twice, Avatarverse superfan), Maya Hawke (Stranger Things, Avatarverse superfan) and more.
Throughout the season, Varney and Basco offer fans an intimate look inside the popular Avatar: The Last Airbender spinoff series where they will break down key themes, notable battles, and share behind-the-scenes stories and trivia.
