My Adventures with Superman returns for a brand-new season, bringing back everything fans have come to love about the series while introducing some exciting new twists along the way.

Season 2 saw Clark continue to uncover the secrets of his Kryptonian heritage while growing into his role as Earth’s protector. Alongside Lois and Jimmy, he faced increasing opposition from Amanda Waller and Lex Luthor, encountered his cousin Kara Zor-El, and ultimately battled the powerful Brainiac, whose plans threatened both Earth and the legacy of Krypton. By season’s end, Kara had broken free of Brainiac’s influence and joined Clark and his friends as a hero in her own right.
As Season 3 begins, Clark is becoming more comfortable in his role as Superman and the responsibilities that come with being Earth’s protector. Lois is enjoying her relationship with Clark but finds herself navigating the challenges that come with their growing future together. Jimmy continues to embrace his newfound celebrity status, while Kara is still adjusting to life on Earth and finding her place among her new friends.
Longtime comic fans will recognize elements from the classic Reign of the Supermen storyline woven throughout the season. However, like previous seasons, My Adventures with Superman doesn’t simply recreate familiar comic stories. Instead, it adapts them in ways that feel natural to the show’s unique take on the Superman mythos.
The voice cast continues to be one of the series’ greatest strengths. Jack Quaid once again delivers a fantastic performance as both Clark Kent and Superman, bringing an infectious optimism and sincerity to the character. Alice Lee remains a standout as Lois Lane, whose chaotic energy and determination continue to make her one of the show’s most entertaining characters. Ishmel Sahid returns as Jimmy Olsen, who gets plenty of laughs as he embraces his growing fame. Kiana Madeira continues to shine as Kara, while Darren Criss joins the cast in a role that Superman fans are sure to appreciate.
What continues to set My Adventures with Superman apart from many other superhero series is its heart. The action sequences are exciting, and the season introduces several new ideas and characters, but the relationships between the cast remain the true focus of the show. The humor is as strong as ever, and fans of classic Superman comics will enjoy the many Easter eggs and references sprinkled throughout the season, particularly those inspired by the Silver Age.
Three seasons in, My Adventures with Superman continues to prove why it has become one of the most enjoyable modern interpretations of the Man of Steel. By blending action, comedy, romance, and optimism, the series offers a fresh take on Superman while still respecting the character’s core values. It remains a fun and heartfelt adventure that both longtime Superman fans and newcomers can enjoy.
Season 3 of My Adventures with Superman premieres Saturday, June 13, at midnight ET/PT on Adult Swim and streams the following day on HBO Max.
