WHAT: Hasbro, a leading games, IP and toy company, in collaboration with Fathom Entertainment, the leading specialty distributor of content to theatrical partners worldwide, today announced that tickets are now on sale for the 4Ktheatrical return of the original The Transformers: The Movie.
Beginning, September 17, 2026, in celebration of Transformers Day, the event gives fans the chance to experience the 40th anniversary of the landmark film on the big screen and stay through the credits for a brand-new post-credits cinematic chapter created exclusively for this release.

Theatrical Event Begins: Thursday, September 17, 2026 – Monday, September 21, 2026 (currently scheduled)

This one-of-a-kind moviegoing experience will screen in theatres nationwide across the United States and is expanding globally with screenings in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Germany. Premium large format 4DX screenings will be available in the U.S. and the UK.
