BOOM! Studios and IDW Publishing continues the epic crossover of the series of Power Rangers and TMNT on its fourth issue.
From last time, I was too surprised to see the designs of the Turtles and The Shredder’s transformation is just too random to think of, but now it’s a reality. From what I went through Twitter and Instagram, I had my expectations too far from this because seeing these character designs will truly shock the fans over the whole concept of this crossover. And that’s not the only thing that concerns me, but APRIL O’NEIL JOINS THE FIGHT TOO.
The front cover shows a series of heroes and villains are about to fight each other, as the Turtles and April are in their Morphin suits, and while the Angel Grove teenagers are well equipped to become ninjas, while Shredder summoned the whole Foot clan to attack them at night time. From the start of the story, the heroes are not going down without a fight, so they are very well prepared as the turtles morphed into Power Rangers while the teenagers regained their focus and purpose they’re prepared to fight as human beings well equipped along with Casey Jones. The funny thing about the morphed turtles is that they still equipped with their usual weapons, but April gets to use a bow and arrow, and then at the end, they defeated the enemy by their Howling Cannon or whatever it is. And the rangers are rescuing Tommy. But most importantly, Bebop and Rocksteady have taken action to rampage the city, having Rita to enlarge them with her magic. Now that is a rare thing to look over this comic, Rita Ripulsa actually used her magic to turn the mutants to grow bigger in the middle of central park. The readers just bet that they never see a comic crossover where one of the creatures from a different dimension can grow bigger, plus the transformation of the power rangers too. So the whole crossover series is about to conclude when the turtles are going to fight Bebop and Rocksteady with the power of the Megazord.
I have nothing further to say on this comic because this is too surprising for me and the readers to know how epic this crossover really is. So be my guest and see it for yourselves because this whole concept is making me get a headache. Don’t get me wrong, the designs are great and we hope to see the conclusion of the story soon.
