For the first time ever, Eisner Award winner and Inkpot recipient Billy Tucci brings to reality the character that inspired his legendary comic book character, Shi. In the past thirty-years Shi has garnered accolades, sold millions of comics and along with Brian Pulido’s Lady Death and Vampirella, launched the Bad Girl genre.

But this 48-page, full color graphic novel, Ran: Revenge of the Warrior explores Tucci’s first creation and in her most raw and savage form.

Set within the violent, neon-lit, Kabukichō district of Tokyo 1993, where the embattled Yakuza turn to American, ex-pat killers to do their dirtiest of work.

Led by Vietnam Veteran, “The Wolf”, these Yanks follow no Bushidō, just their own brutality and a twisted loyalty that buys power.

But not everyone stayed bought.

Enter Ran Moban. Orphaned as a child, trafficked and vanished at twenty. Scarred by the Wolf as a teenager, Ran’s whereabouts are unknown.

That is until now as Ran has returned to Tokyo carrying steel and thirsting for vengeance.
