Reacher Is Back for a Fourth Season and Still Kicking Ass

Reacher is back with Season Four. And, damn, I’m seriously enjoying this series.

Season Four is based on Gone Tomorrow, the 13th book in Lee Child’s series. This time around, Reacher has a chance encounter with a distraught stranger on a subway that quickly turns deadly. Before long, he finds himself caught up in a much larger conspiracy involving some very powerful people.

Once again, Ritchson is definitely Reacher. If you’ve read the books and pictured Reacher in your mind, this is pretty much what he’d look like. With every season, Ritchson is getting more and more comfortable as Reacher.

This season is no exception. Ritchson just kicks ass here, both physically and with his sarcasm and dry sense of humor.

The show’s already been renewed for a fifth season, and I hope it continues beyond that because this role was made for Ritchson.

Sydelle Noel is Philadelphia Detective Tamara Green. I’m not familiar with Noel’s body of work, but she plays well off of Reacher. Her character is trying to do things by the book, and with Reacher around, that’s never easy to do. Noel does a good job playing someone who’s not sure what side of the line to stand on.

Christopher Marquette plays Jacob Merrick, a small-town New Jersey police officer who gets wrapped up in this conspiracy, mainly due to personal reasons. I’ve seen some things Marquette has been in, and he’s always pretty good. He is really good in this role as well.

Agnez Mo plays Lila Hoth, in this case the damsel in distress. I had never heard of Mo before, but in researching her, I learned she’s an Indonesian singer, songwriter, and actress, so she never popped up on my radar. I thought she was really good here. It’s a nice transition for her into the American market, and I hope we get to see more of her.

Reacher Season Four seriously kicks off in high gear right from the beginning, and while it does give you a chance to catch your breath, the story is nonstop.

Just another great season of Reacher.

You don’t need to be familiar with the book series to enjoy Reacher, so if you haven’t seen it yet, I recommend you start from Season One and work your way up.

Reacher Season Four returns on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, with the first three episodes and a new episode weekly through September 16, only on Prime Video.
