TV Review: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (The CW)

The CW is firing on almost all cylinders with their impressive line-up of superhero shows.

The team-up epic, Legends of Tomorrow is no exception. The season opens with promise as they introduce a new character right off the bat. Using the Green Arrow to bring fans of the cross-over shows in, the premier establishes itself on a level field with the others. The episode is full of excitement as the team is shown throughout time in many crazy adventures. From Dinosaurs to famous scientists, this episode has it all.

One issue I have is the missing members of the team. Last season, by one tragedy or another, we lost three characters from the team. The presence of the Hawks and Captain Cold is definitely felt. I’m eager to see if the new characters can fill the void left by three of my favorites. The threat is raised in this season as the villain(s) are awesome! Most of the time when evil villains team up in this sort of thing it seems hockey or forced. Not this time! The surprise at the end actually made me jump up and down. The end really brings the shared universe together.

Overall, LoT definitely has my attention. I’ll give this one a 4 out of 5!
