While Terry was under the Spellbinder’s control and away from his duties as Batman, the Jokerz have swelled their ranks to an all-time high; even carving out their own slice of the city, the aptly named Jokerz Town. Surrounded by Jokerz and in for the fight of his life, Terry quickly realizes that he isn’t ready to go back to being Batman. A quick escape leaves Dana stranded in Jokerz Town and Terry reeling from the realization that the Batmantle might be more than he can handle right now, but that doesn’t mean that he is down and out. With a new look and a change of plans, Terry might just be able to pull this one off.
Neo-Gotham in shambles, Terry McGinness off of his game, and the stakes as high as they have ever been? That is what I call a Batman Beyond book. Strong Artwork and Storytelling make this book a great start for what seems to be a promising run on a fan favourite character. This is one book I will be recommending to anyone and everyone as I scramble to get my hands on every issue! An amazing read!
