Toy Review: The Simpsons 25 Greatest Guest Stars Kid Rock (NECA)

Alright.  Everybody this time.  Even you…the doofus all the way in the back.  You, too.  All together now.  One.  Two.  Three.

Yes!!!!

NECA’s Series 1 Simpsons figures are hitting the store shelves.  And amongst the inaugural 25 Greatest Guest Stars line are the likes of Hugh Hefner, James Brown, Yao Ming, Tom Hanks and that devil without a cause, Kid Rock.  You wanna talk about an eclectic assortment of celebrities!

I stumbled upon Kid at my local Toys R Us.  I was actually pretty lucky to land him because they only had a few Simpsons figures in stock.  None of the ones I really wanted.  And the only reason they even had Kid, was because his card was a bit roughed up.

No matter to your friendly neighborhood jman, though.  Because I don’t keep my figures on the card.  Nope.  Free range chickens toys for me. All the way.

As you might expect from a Simpsons figure, Kid has some pretty limited articulation.  Mostly, at the shoulders.  His head does turn a bit, but his hair kinda blocks any real movement.

But, so what?  You’re not getting this figure for the articulation.  You’re getting it cause it’s Kiiiiiiiiiiiiid…Kid Rock!
