This may be my favourite issue so far! A real insight into the dysfunctional relationship between Harley and her Puddin!
Red Tool steps up and goes to meet The Joker in Harley’s place after setting her clock back so she misses the meeting. I have to admit it didn’t go the way I was expecting, I thought The Joker would absolutely destroy Red Tool but wasn’t I prepared for what actually happened. The Joker must have some sort o plan brewing but he seems to genuinely miss Harley while dream/flashbacks show the real extent of the abusive relationship they were in. Harley is having none of it and gets her revenge with a perfect homage to Bruce Willis that was brilliant and exactly the kind of thing you would expect from Harley.
Really nice to see Harley’s strength coming through when it comes to The Joker, actually standing up for herself and not automatically swooning in front of him. Usually, she jumps to his beck and call but now she seems to have realized the destructiveness in her relationship and has decided to take action
When Joker and Harley are together they are awesome but it’s been fun seeing Joker as the besotted one for a change
