From the famous board game of Dungeons and Dragons, the most amazing role-playing game has transformed into a comic book made by IDW.
We find out that the series of the board game has a lot of stories between the characters, the legends, monsters, etc. But this whole comic series has a story behind the creators, story written by Jim Zub and art by Netho Diaz.
In the “Frost Giant’s Fury” story, we left off where our heroes fought with some monsters along the way, but while they’re in the Frozen Tundra, they continued their journey from the depths of the wintery snow, until they reached the town to get some help. While they had their free time, the Giants are invading the village. The whole group fought hard against the Giants, however, the thing is that the Giants wanted to destroy anyone who gets in their way. But the story is too random to tell, and its different from the board game because you’ll get to see these characters in action.
In my reaction, I’m very surprised that the whole board game of Dungeons and Dragons had turned into a phenomenon, just until IDW releases the whole comic book series with some actual stories that the readers had never read before. I never heard or played Dungeons and Dragons before, but I used to play some other role-playing games, based on video games. And I always inspired with some fantasy art like this issue. The art is amazing though, and the basis of the story is telling how their journey goes in the way to fight the Giants. But the story is actually into real fantasy life, than playing the board game. I would recommend anyone who played Dungeons and Dragons, actually inspire the fans to see what whole game turned into reality.
