We start the issue with Wynonna looking wistfully over the plains and thinking about being back home.
It’s not somewhere she wanted to be but it’s called for her and she’s stepped up as has her little sister Waverly who seems to have a plan for everything. Doc and Val have taken over running of the bar and black badge has fronted it which can only lead to trouble. This time trouble comes in the form of dynamite strapped to the chest of a bleeding man who only wants to speak to Wynonna.
Lost Dave is here to warn Wynonna about alpha team x who are gunning for her. They have already killed a few of her old gang and the rest are holding them off so that Wynonna can escape as if that was ever Wynonna’s style and after a quick flashback to how Wynonna got involved with the gang she is ready to kick ass and her ‘family’ are right behind her.
Loving this issue and can’t wait to see where it goes, the artwork and feel of the story reflects the TV show brilliantly.
