Jurgens continues an epic time-traveling story with the 3rd installment of the Booster Shot arc.

Booster Gold and Superman continue to uncover the unsolved mystery of Jor-El’s survival of Krypton while being plagued by ancient Krypton’s Eradicator robots. Their battle sends them straight into Booster Gold’s time zone: The Future!!!

Known as a wanted criminal and stranded Booster Gold and Superman must work together to return to the present before time reshuffles and changes all of existence!! Can Booster change his reputation in his own timeline? Will Superman come to his senses and realize the damage that is being done to time? Can they return back to the present before its too late!?

Jurgens continues to deliver a fun time with Booster Gold taking center stage and making it enjoyable to read. Admittedly while I enjoy this arc I did feel bothered by Superman’s actions, risking time and space in order to find closure on Jor-El AKA Mr. Oz’s survival and the cause of it etc. But understandably in context to the events of the prior arc The Oz Effect, its reasonable as to why Superman is behaving sloppily and recklessly as he is. But I feel Jurgens has a good grasp on the story and added more layers and content into Booster Gold’s backstory that makes it even more interesting and worth investing in regards to this issue and arc.

Booth’s artwork is fantastic!! It’s strong, it’s action-packed, full of motion and style that causes the reader to turn the page and soak in every panel all the time. But that is also due in part of the inker Rapmund and the color work of colorist Dalhouse that really makes Booth’s artwork pop with vibrance.

If you like what’s going on in Action Comics and want to see a new layer of depth in Booster Gold, then Definitely pick this book up.
