Comic Review: Batman #53 (DC Comics)

Bruce continues his jury duty trying to save Mr. Freeze and put Batman on trial at the same time.

For being set predominately in one room there is still a lot going on and loads of tension as Bruce pleads his case. The artwork is incredible, it really turns the setting into a gritty courtroom drama and emphasizes the gravity of the situation.

I loved the little twist right at the end that kind of throws a spin on the whole tale that made me really smile and you realize no matter what happened Bruce is still Bruce. I can’t wait to see how he deals with being Batman now and how he copes with his future
