Wow, a massive crossover event happening here and it looks like its going to be epic.
The overlying story is Booster Gold and Harley fighting their way across America’s skies and even on its own that would be pretty amazing as its a brilliant fight but below that on another level we have Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman discovering a massacre of heroes at a place that was supposed to be a safe house as each massacred members story is relived in a beautiful 9 panel Diary room style shot as they open up to the sanctuary about the help they need.
I love the Harley/Booster fight as it really shows off Harley’s craziness I mean who else would be clinging onto someone flying through the air and then stab them? What exactly went on at the Sanctuary? Did something go wrong or was this always the plan? So many questions raised, hopefully, all the answers will come in the next few issues but either way, they look like they are going to be well worth the read!
