Dark Horse Comics brings you a Japanese manga based on a light novel about a shut-in girl who’s an Illustrator of the first volume of Eromanga Sensei.

“I don’t know anyone by that embarrassing name!” Oh, I’m not talking about you, young lady. I’m just going on with the preparations with my fidget spinner and to give me the patience and courage to read this manga, and this one is that really gets my blood boiling as an artist and a comic/manga collector, and I’ve been waiting for this day when this manga is popular enough for me to review, and this is gonna be a big ass review along the way. So anyway the Eromanga Sensei manga, this Japanese graphic novel is what you get when some crazy nerdy weeabs carry their dreams for being someone’s waifu or sister gets crazy with their cuteness and affection, and somehow you feel warmth in their hearts like you wanted to be with someone, then added it out with some erotic scenes, laughed it out, and their girlfriends will leave and dumped them with some garbage and piss, and then took it out on Facebook, and somehow took it out as a reference about it. Eromanga that is made out of erotic and filthy comics for adults.

Supposedly, this manga is drawn by rin and kanzakihiro and originally made by Tsukasa Fushimi, the same light novel author who made Oreimo, and later both of them were spawned as an anime adaptation. And it’s actually about some sibling relationship, or even if you called that with a lot of fan base going on, the internet has gotten crazy lately. It’s very surprising that Dark Horse Comics releases some Japanese comics from time to time, like Berserk, Psycho-Pass, Vocaloid series, even Mob Psycho 101, maybe I should get into that for another time. But somehow the manga version takes their toll and it was almost 5 years that the series debut it, but it just stopped for a while and is this actually the best thing to do to get some more ideas in real life. If you ever experienced watching this anime or read this manga or the light novel as an adult or young adult, then there’s nothing to say, but if you’re new to this, you’re probably scratching your heads to know what’s going on and see it for yourself, then consider this as a SPOILER ALERT. But, let me tell you, I’ve experienced by reading and watching the series at the same time I have a few ups and down between this series, so let’s get started with this filth, because Eromanga Sensei said if I don’t, she’ll call the FBI to get me, so let’s get to it, ‘cuz it’s gonna get fudged up.

So where do I begin, this is actually the story two kids living together at the same house, a writer and a high school student named Masamune Izumi who’s been writing some light novel stories, and a girl named Sagiri, an illustrator, and who also possesses her title as the famous illustrator “Eromanga Sensei.” Up until their current age, they lost their parents since childhood and these kids are not related by blood, after that, Sagiri locked up in her room after the loss of her mother, drawing all day without having her stepbrother realize that she’s an illustrator, right until he watched her live stream video, and then later revealed themselves as an illustrator and a writer to each other. So despite their personalities, she’s shy and fragile, but secretly showing her perverted thoughts of her work so it’s not really that important, the important thing about her is that she’s happy to do her drawings which makes it so cute to show her efforts, while her stepbrother is more oriented to do his work as a writer, and probably stubborn and stupid. But deep down they were happy for doing something that they loved the most. And it sounds similar considering a female samurai warrior holding the legendary sword known as Masamune and cut through the enemies along the way which is most like to have with these characters with some raw mental power to make art and writing, actually, I just made that up, thanks Sephiroth.

So it’s just only a sibling relationship working their lives together, huh. Well, that’s good! How worse can this be? Ha ha ha ha, but It’s right out of the paper bag, so how does this manga could get more awkward? I suppose that this is a drama and comedy series, but the strangeness escalates when the story turns from sweet innocence into straight up filthy, but MAKE SURE that there’s no one around you in this room. Let me explain here: there’s a girl named Megumi, who’s a classmate of Sagiri, but unfortunately, they never met ever since she’s locked in her room. And then confronts with Masamune to give him some affection from her and then said that she loves dicks in the middle of the conversation. Dude… it’s a Japanese manga series where a girl said “dick” in front of a boy. Like what is wrong with the author, why would you do that? Surely it just happened to the Dragon Ball series where the artist is vaguely drawn some censored stuff but everything else is focused on the fighting and all or JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure where every story and art is blood, violence, and erotic scenes, and this book is made for adults, but here on this manga the author dropped the D word for dynamite, if kids would have read it, they would be cursed for the rest of their lives, and the author is probably responsible for that. And then there’s some stupid drama shit going on like have you kissed a girl, and affection, but hearing about canceling the internet makes is want to stop watching or reading this series and scream in agony and now you’ll know what kind of anger I’m talking about. Later in the few episodes when Sagiri invites that girl in her room and draws her as a model for her work, well you’ll see it soon enough because I really don’t want to talk about it, sometimes if you did, you’ll have a chance to get arrested for watching this, and sometimes like I said before the internet has gotten crazy lately, some people post one of these scenes as a meme. This is one of that sometimes-sometimes kind of kawaii girly shounen anime/manga series, sometimes, you’ll blow your eardrums and your eyeballs rather than seeing and hearing how intimidating that girl is, and sometimes you’ll flip the table and throw your computer out the damn window! And you don’t want that to happen.

This problem escalates when the story sees it and allow to add more sexual harassment. I’d like to know more about this author? Who is this person who has a filthy mind to have such messed up stories? I mean does it worth watching or reading one of his works? Let me tell you about this, the story of Eromanga Sensei made no sense besides the sibling relationship or the dream to get their work turn into an anime, how does the story get a lot of sexual attraction and mind fudge between the girls even a twelve-year-old girl, and dick jokes?! So why does this non-rated Japanese manga, get published in the US like Dark Horse in the first place? I can’t believe that this book is age ranged for older teens and adults just according to the internet, but the publisher didn’t think to add the age rating on the back of the physical book. It’s like “Alright, Eromanga Sensei, let’s put the age rating for 16 and older on our website because everyone can use digitally now.” But neither in this physical book, if kids would have picked it up, the book would show some erotic or uncensored scenes, just please put the age rating on this book or the kids will be cursed for the rest of their lives. However, when I looked at some article of this work, Fushimi’s sister was angry and disgusted with him for writing his dirty stories about little sisters, and said on Anime Maru saying “I’m not talking to that creep until he quits writing these messed up novels.” And “During the whole Oreimo thing, he kept insisting that fiction and reality were separate and that it didn’t at all reflect any of his views. In hindsight, I probably should have just started avoiding him back then, but now with this Eromanga Sensei anime he’s really gone too far.” Well let me tell you right now: that is completely true. It’s pretty messed up how the relationship between siblings turned into chaos, even when the anime was first debuted last year.

So whether you have the patience for reading this manga or just kill yourself, the story took it too far to have the plot filled with filth. And this isn’t the only thing that complicates the matter of some awkward relationship. For example, in Oreimo, the story tells that a young teenage girl named Kirino has been avoiding her brother for years until he revealed that she’s a nerd just going around with some erotic products like anime, games, some sort. Then for such time has passed they in love with each other and kissed at the end of the series. But how long does the author keep developing these strange ideas? In fact, it’s one of the most sickening ideas that I’ve ever heard. The art is probably made the same with the artist working together with the author, so to think that he made such a light novel and drawn like this, then the story must be related. And the art is not that bad, it’s really great and easy to follow to read the whole thing, but going around with some scenes of obscure girls with erotic scenes may be disturbing, but imagine if you read his Fushimi’s novels with words like it’s an actual novel but then filled with dirty words that would be pleased for retarded nerds. I mean is this light novel series is actually made for teens or adults? I don’t know…. Why does Fushimi make a story about some brother and sister relationship? Why does the story include fan-based scenes of a twelve-year-old girl? Why does everything that he wrote somewhat filthy beyond the plot of the story? And why did you include one of the main characters who happen to show that a twelve-year-old girl who has some perverted thoughts? I mean are you trying to be funny? Of course not! It just felt a lot of guilt for going over with this series that made out of filth. Ever since I’ve watched one of those weirdest animes in my early 20s like Oreimo, I had a personal disturbance against it.

The story gets a little serious when Masamune is going to have an appointment with his editor at an editorial company for book publishing, yeah he’s the author and he’s working with an editor what do you expect? He worked hard on writing stories, even he persuades the editor to do their dirty work for him in order to make one of his works as an anime adaptation, but then turned out that it was all shit, and so does this light novel series. Nowadays, writers and illustrators and writers get to post their work on the internet even though if it’s for business or for fun. But this is the real world were talkin’ about, of course, you’d expect to have your book published, but the editor fights you back with some serious critiques. The editors are not that responsible for the decision, the creator has to prove that the story turns to be interesting just by reading and proofreading it. But in this manga, Masamune was so desperate to have his work published, then have a lot of proposals for the editor to review, even for the sake of living in his home with his sister. All the times I’ve witnessed that some of the proposals for the work that the creator is willing to make are more like handing a 10 or 20-page essay to your English teacher and get your grade back with a feedback next week. Have you ever sent so many proposals to your editors? No, nobody does that, it takes a lot of time and effort to have something good to write like that, but if you did, you’d become courageous and willing to promote you anytime. Then he met with some other writers such as Elf Yamada and others later of the series, trying to make their work published and makes it popular.

This manga is so filthy, even the writer produced it to have this published in Japan. It’s a no-brainer that this manga is so popular, Oreimo was that popular, he kept writing these things for some stupid desires. Anyway, the story is more of a slice of life kind of story, but I’m not saying that is that bad, but the story is never similar to another shounen manga called Bakuman by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, that kind of manga was a masterpiece and just like Death Note, they kept working with these ideas to make their work more famous that somehow their work would be published in the US. The art of this manga is more similar to Oreimo, some many fans think that this manga is like Oreimo, then yes it is because it was made by the same light novel author and the artist just to keep it going with their business, but the art is really amazing, to begin with. But writing a story about a sibling relationship with some fanbase innuendos, you have to feel so sick and laugh like you want to read it more. What were they thinking?! As for that, this is the first time that Dark Horse published this manga in the first place, and if you rather want to read some silly romantic comedy like Oreimo, then this is for you, you sicko.
