Superman #14 from DC; the final fate… of the Monster who killed Krypton!

In this chapter of the Unity Saga, (conclusion of Part One of House of El), Superman, Supergirl and SuperSon Jon, and Krypto are meeting with a big pile of people. It’s grim. Krypton has been destroyed and people have lied. Yesterday, Zod and Zaar confronted each other, and it seems like there is more danger a’comin’!

It’s a galaxy full of drama, and a cast of hundreds. And space ships. Brian Michael Bendis pens, and Ivan Reis pencils. Inking by Joe Prado and Oclair Albert, with colours by Alex Sinclair.

Excellent pacing, plenty of dramatic moments, many stern looks, dozens of figures standing with their arms folded. Three double-page spreads! And we go onward, with new recruits!

DC, Superman #18, $3.99 for 23 pages of content. Teen

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
