IDW and Oni Press are at it again, and so are Rick and Morty! A new issue of Rick and Morty VS Dungeons and Dragons is out this week, bound to please fans of both creations.

It’s game time, of course, and Rick and Morty are up for it. But grampa has his own ideas, and bang bang, out go the lights! There’s nothing like a deep-dive into a game.

It’s a maelstrom of mayhem, foul-mouthed mouthing-off, consumer satirism and just plain “Painscape”!

Written in scandalous anecdotes by Canadian Jim Zub, it’s drawn with frenetic kinetics by Canadian Prince Edward Islander Troy Little (Angora Napkin, Powderpuff Girls, Fear, and Loathing). It’s coloured in amazingly multi-shaded lunacy by Brazilian Leonardo Ito. Go get it! Game on!

IDW Oni Press, Rick and Morty VS Dungeons and Dragons Chapter II, issue #1, $3.99 for 26 pages of content. Teen

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
